Hand Feeding the Deer!

My friend Laura had warned us to bring deer corn with us to feed the deer at her house on Fripp Island and she was not kidding.  The trough was in their back yard and the deer would eat from your hand all over the island.  I don't think the island locals liked them as much as we did, but we had an awesome time with the wildlife.  I did this layout using Florentine too and am really pleased with the finished product.

Thinking of You!

I have been trying to cut all of the different card formats that are available on the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge, but there are so many things to create using this cartridge.  For this card, I used the Dotty of You paper pack and made the flowers with folded circle punches.  I topped it off with CTMH's bakers twine and can't wait to give it to my friend.

Peaceful Walk and Florentine

When Gary and I were at Fripp Island, we found this boardwalk nature trail into the marshes of lower state South Carolina.  It was so wonderful to enjoy God's beautiful handy work.  The colors and patterns in Florentine were perfect to showcase our pictures.  Looking at my layouts makes me want to go back there today.

Missing My Friend...

My good friend from work has been out for 4 weeks on medical leave so I made this card for her using the Stella paper pack and the Just For You Acrylix Stamp Set.  This card was quick and easy and I hope it brightened my friend's day!

Another Victory Card...

My brother was in ICU in Atlanta for a month so I made him this card to let him know how much I care about him and was keeping him in my thoughts and prayers.  I like the way the Victory paper pack gave a masculine feel to my card.

A Cool Find...

Gary and I were on our way home from Fripp Island and were on a back road in lower South Carolina when we happened upon these ruins.  We were too curious not to stop and were so glad we did.  The ruins were beautiful and we learned a little history.  I thought the CTMH Florentine paper pack and Stickease suited these pictures perfectly.  I also embellished with our awesome new Color Ready Garden Wooden Shapes.  These products are all available on my website so it is very easy to get your own and get started preserving you own beautiful memories!

Victory at Sea!

Gary and I spent a weekend at Fripp Island last April and visited the Hunting Island State Park, home of the Hunting Island lighthouse.  I thought the new CTMH Victory paper was perfect to showcase a lighthouse that guided so many ships to safety off the shore of South Carolina.  We had an awesome weekend and I love that I have gotten some of our pictures scrapbooked for my memory book.
