It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas!!

I love giving handmade cards especially at Christmas!  I also love heat embossing on my cards.  For  this card, I used the Adorn-able (D1446) and Card Chatter-Christmas (D1388) My Acrylix stamp sets on the outside, embossed with silver embossing powder.  Then I punched a few white sprigs and coated them with Stardust Glitz Glitter Gel (Z1313).  Finally, I adhered a few buttons from the Red Assortment Buttons (Z1369) and added a ribbon on top.  I used Holiday Commentary Stamp Set (C13799) for the inside sentiment.  How do you like my first card of the season?

Snowflake Ornaments

I got the idea for these fun little ornaments online and just thought they were adorable.  I punched out the snowflakes and then covered them with CTMHs Stardust Glitz Glitter Gel.  I added a little red button and silver bell.  Such a simple ornament added a lot of sparkle to my red & white Christmas tree! 

I just love ROXIE and my baby girl!

This layout uses the Roxie Level 2 paper pack and Roxie Stickease.  The bottom embellishment was on a layout in the Fall Idea Book and was so cute I had to use it.  The other embellishments are cut using the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  If you are a cricut fan or want to cut beautiful embellishments then this cartridge is a must have.  The doily at the top right is so delicate but was so easy to cut using this cartridge.  The beautiful roses were just as easy; you cut and roll them up.  Easy Peasy!  Share the love and let me know what you think about this beautiful Roxie layout!!

Roxie Girl..

The Roxie Level 2 Paper Pack, Roxie Stickease, and my CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge were all I need to put together is beautiful layout of my daughter.  She is not really a cowgirl but the photographer wanted to have some fun shots.  I just love this one.

Beautiful Dreamin' Bride

I love the colors in the new Level 2 Paper Pack Dreamin' and they really showcased this beautiful picture of my daughter, Amanda. She has been happily married for about an hour now. I love you Amanda and Scott and wish you all of the happiness you can imagine.

Wedding Preparations!

This friday, my baby girl is getting married.  We are so lucky to be getting such a great new son.  Amanda and I have worked for several months getting things ready and now we're all ready.  Here are some of the items we made.  The layout of Amanda and Scott came from the Close To My Heart Idea Book.  I love the layout and thought it was perfect for this picture of them.  I was so excited when I saw the new Fall Idea book because I had been looking for the perfect paper to use for their decorations and CTMH did not let me down with Sonoma.  The colors are just perfect for their fall wedding.  Let me know what you think...

Generations of Love - Make A Wish Album Contest #5

This layout met the requirement to use only cardstock and stamping and no B&T paper.  This layout was easy for me because I had 60 colors of CTMH cardstock to use and found the exact matches for these colorful Easter pictures.  I wish for Amanda and Addison to always know they come from a family of love.
(These layouts have all been about the girls, but I do want you to know that Addison has an awesome Dad that she has wrapped around her little, diva finger!)

I Wish For Your Future...Album Contest #4

I wish for Addison to grow up with the confidence to know that she can do or be whatever she wants and should never hold back on achieving her dreams.  This layout uses one of my all time favorite CTMH paper packs, You and Me.  I love the color combination and coordinating stamp set.  It was perfect to illustrate what I wish for Addison.

Make A Wish Layout #3 using Studio J!

I love Studio J and I LOVE this layout.  I wish for my granddaughter, Addison, that she will always have smiles and happiness in her life.  I also wish for her that she will take time to smell the flowers and enjoy all the beauty of God's creation.

Make A Wish Album Layout #2

This layout also meets the contest requirement of being interactive.  All of the tags on the right side top pull out to reveal messages I wrote to my daughter.  I loved the Mayberry paper pack from the second I saw it and to colors were perfect for these pictures.  Amanda is such a good mother and Addison is the happiest little girl!

Make a Wish CTMH 2nd Place Album Contest Winner

The CTMH Conventional Album contest this past summer was "Make A Wish" which was very fitting since we were at Disney where wishes come true!  I was so lucky to win 2nd place behind the stamp goddess, Tresa Black.   29 years ago, I wished for a healthy baby girl and God blessed me with my beautiful Amanda.  Now, her wish came true with her beautiful daughter, Addison.  My theme for this album is what I wish for her and her daughter.

We have guidelines for making each layout.  I had to make one layout without any pictures, only journaling.  I struggled with this one but when I finally had an idea in my head and put it on paper, I was pleased with the finished product.  At least one layout had to be interactive so this page also meets  that requirement.

I am truly blessed to have such a great relationship with Amanda and hope this album shows how much I love her and how proud I am to be her mother.

The center of the flower on the right pages is raised and spins.  You can't really see in this photo but the clouds are embossed.  The sunflowers are made from banner flags that I stamped, cut out and adhered on a circle I punched.
